SSB Recruitment 2013 Vacancy, Eligibility Details
No of vacancies: A total of 766 Vacancies exists.
Name of the post:
1. Asstt. Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication): 43 posts
2. Head Constable (Telecommunication): 632 posts
3. Constable (Telecommunication): 91 posts
Educational qualification: Candidate should have passed Matric with Diploma in Electronics or Telecommunication from an Institution recognized by the State Government or equivalent for Asstt. Sub-Inspector post. Matriculation or equivalent plus two years I.T.I. Certificate in Electronics for Head Constable post & Matriculation or equivalent with Science from a recognized Board/Institute or equivalent for Constable post.
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18-25 years for Asstt. Sub-Inspector post & between 18-23 years for Head Constable & Constable posts as on 20-06-2013.
For Asstt. Sub-Inspector Post: 5200-20200 + 2800 in PB-I
For Head Constable Post: 5200-20200 + 2400 in PB-I
For Constable Post: 5200-20200 + 2000 in PB-I
Selection Process: Selection will be done based on Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Tests (PST), Written Exam and Medical Examination
Application Fee & Mode Of Payment Details
General and OBC candidates need to pay ` 50/- (non refundable) as application fee in the form of Bank Draft in favour of “Accounts Officer, SSB, FTR HQ, Lucknow,” payable at SBI Branch, Lucknow (UP)”. SC/ST and Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
